A male nurse suspected of indecently assaulting a 13-year-old boy at Prince of Wales Hospital was taken off direct patient-care duties yesterday. Police are trying to contact other young patients who were under the nurse's care. The Hospital Authority said: 'Pending the outcome of the police investigation, the nurse has been assigned to non-patient care duty and is under direct supervision.' The boy, awaiting brain surgery, told his father on Wednesday of the alleged attack. The 25-year-old suspect, arrested in Kwai Chung that night, was released on bail of $1,000 and is required to report back on Tuesday.
