Korean Park No-seok and American Brian Quinn stayed in front at the halfway stage in the US$200,000 Orient Masters in Xiamen, China.

Both players fired one-under 71s for a two-round total of three-under-par 141 at the Orient Golf and Country Club.

Park and Quinn lead by a stroke from Korea's Kang Wook-soon, Thailand's Boonchu Ruangkit and Chawalit Plaphol, Danny Zarate of the Philippines and American Shaun Michael.

'I really want to play well this year and win on the Omega Tour,' said Park. 'I feel very confident about my game and am hoping for a very good year. I hit the ball very well today, but just didn't make enough putts.' Hong Kong's Dominique Boulet also made the cut, despite firing a three-over par 75. It matched his first-round score to give him an aggregate of 150, a dozen shots off the pace.

Former Hong Kong player Scott Rowe missed the cut. His score of 72 yesterday could not salvage a disastrous opening round of 80, as he missed out by one shot.
