CMHI denies rumours

China Merchants Holdings (International) Co (CMHI) yesterday moved to quash market rumours it was negotiating to acquire assets in the Shekou Industrial Zone. The company said it was not participating in negotiations with the China Merchants Group to acquire any assets. CMHI also said there was no timetable regarding any such asset purchases from its mainland parent.
