Blaze pair

A couple were in critical condition in Yan Chai hospital after a fire broke out in the sitting room of their flat in Luk Yeung Sun Chuen, Tsuen Wan. Chan Lai-kuen, 46, was suffering from 80 per cent burns on her face and body. Her husband, Yan Pui-chak, 49, had 40 per cent burns. An empty bottle containing traces of thinner was found.
