Taipei was Hong Kong's leading air-cargo trading partner in February, according to Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department statistics, but cargo traffic to and from Taipei declined in February compared with January. Hong Kong unloaded 7,833 tonnes of air cargo from Taipei, compared with 8,056 tonnes in January, while exports to Taipei fell from 6,754 tonnes to 5,811 tonnes in February. Bangkok stayed second to Hong Kong in terms of import tonnage, with 6,313 tonnes for the month. Singapore and Tokyo Narita were unchanged in third and fourth place. Tokyo Narita was Hong Kong's second biggest air cargo export market in February, followed by Anchorage and Frankfurt.
