Poor quality

Perhaps some people wonder why young people in Hong Kong are so strongly influenced by modern Japanese culture.

They follow Japanese fashions, and like Japanese artists and singers.

They also enjoy watching those Japanese television programmes which are shown in Hong Kong, such as SMAP X SMAP, and Love Generation.

I find the stories in them to be very touching.

The reason for this fascination, is that, compared to the Japanese dramas, locally-made productions are of very poor quality.
