Martin Lee Chu-ming expects the democratic camp to win 15 seats in the elections.

The Democrats' leader, speaking to Australian businessmen, also criticised officials and poll organisers over their recent comments on the new voting procedures.

'This attitude of the Government and the chairman of the Electoral Affairs Commission is insulting the intelligence of our people,' Mr Lee said. 'Having presented them with such a complicated system, they failed to explain the complexities to the people and simply said: 'Well, you don't have to worry, just go and put a tick'.'
