LEE CHEUK-YAN, unionist candidate in next Sunday's elections, sustained minor injuries to his arm and knee after his car and a coach collided in Yuen Long last night. Mr Lee's car swerved off the Yuen Long Highway, near the junction of Hung Tin Road at about 7.30 pm, while heading towards Tuen Mun. When it hit the kerb the bus came up behind and crashed into the back of it. Mr Lee, 41, was cut slightly on his right arm by flying glass and suffered a bruised knee. Two of his campaign volunteers were in the car. One, a 36-year-old man, needed treatment for mouth injuries and was discharged, while the other, a 41-year-old woman was kept in Tuen Mun hospital for observation. Mr Lee did not need treatment and went home.
