Competition hits cashmere sales

Fierce competition cut Inner Mongolia Erdos Cashmere Products sales 22.6 per cent year-on-year to 52.13 million yuan (about HK$48.51 million), in the first quarter. Exports by the Shanghai-listed firm slumped 43 per cent in the first quarter, the Economic Information Daily said yesterday.
