The New Zealand share market closed 0.3 per cent higher as it reassessed the annual results of Telecom, dealers said.

Telecom ended firmer after falling on Tuesday when it reported an annual profit in line within expectations.
'As people have refocused on it and digested the numbers, it has picked up,' Merrill Lynch's Tim Koller said.
Lion Nathan was actively traded.
