Wing Shan International fails to disclose connected transactions

Wing Shan International, following in the footsteps of mainland-related firms such as red chip Beijing Enterprises Holdings and China Everbright Ltd, has failed to disclose connected transactions. The company said yesterday it had not disclosed the purchase of fuel from Foshan City District Electric Fuel Supply and that it had charged interest on certain prepayment deposits placed with the firm. The stock exchange has said it reserves the right to take action against the company and its directors over it. Wing Shan said it began the fuel purchases on April 1993.
