Housing code pending

Beijing this month will finalise guidelines for the country's ambitious plans to privatise all its state-owned housing, which provides homes to hundreds of millions nationwide, according to the China Daily. Zhao Chen, the director of the State Housing Reform Office, was quoted as saying the government would convene a national work conference in the middle of this month to endorse the final regulations.
