'Herbal' clam scam

Three women in Tuen Mun were tricked into buying Chinese herbs by female fraudsters who claimed the 'medicine' could turn white hair black and cure diabetes. The victims, aged 40 to 65, each spent between $4,500 and $18,000 for 'Prince Red herb', which police said was just dried clam meat.
