Sentence doubled

Court of Appeal judges yesterday doubled the jail term imposed on a woman convicted of commercial fraud. Veronica Ling, 38, who had a couple impersonate her parents and signed over the family home to pay loansharks had her sentence lifted from two years to four. She admitted forgery and deception.
