Award-winning actress Josephine Siao Fong-fong (above) has just obtained a degree in clinical child psychology and feels on top of the world about it.
'I wanted to take a break from acting and it was my dream for the last 26 years to get a degree,' she said.
It took Josephine four years to complete her studies, through Regis University in Denver, but she still found time to make three movies while at school, including the award-winning Summer Snow.
A former child star, Josephine said she had wanted to change her profession for a long time.
'After 40 years in the film business I thought it was time to branch out and try something different,' she said.
But Josephine, who has been doing volunteer work at Queen Mary Hospital and plans to practise her new profession in a clinic or hospital, added: 'I wouldn't say 'no' if a good script came along. The problem is it is not easy to find good scripts these days.'
