Geoff Hurst, whose three goals earned England the 1966 World Cup in the final against West Germany, will receive a knighthood today from Queen Elizabeth. The honour for the former West Ham star comes just before Monday's opening game for England against Tunisia, 32 years after Hurst brought his country its one and only trophy in the tournament. He is the only player to have scored a hat-trick in the final.
