Foundations need work

USI Holdings executive director and chief executive of a Wing Tai-led consortium developing the Airport Railway Kowloon Station site, Edward Cheng Wai-sum, says work will have to be carried out to rectify foundation problems at the site.

Piling problems were found at the Waterfront, one of USI Holding's residential developments above the station. The project is due for completion by the end of next year.

The Buildings Department found discrepancies between the works and the approved plans.

Mr Cheng did not say whether the project - scheduled for pre-sale next month - would be delayed.
