Avon turns to shops

United States direct-selling firm Avon plans to launch a chain of retail shops to salvage its mainland business because of a ban on direct marketing. Avon Products (Guangzhou) has received permission to retail its goods in Guangzhou stores and launch specialised chain stores, Xinhua said yesterday.
