Casino kidnap suspect arrested in Macau

A suspected casino kidnapper, 20, was arrested by police in Macau. The man was believed to be a member of a three-man gang behind a series of recent abductions involving $12 million in ransom demands.

Officers swooped as he went to pick up $900,000 from a man police say was involved in running a VIP room in the Hyatt Regency casino. A ransom demand of $5 million had been paid by the victim who was earlier released after being held at gunpoint by two other men who were still at large last night.
