* IT's a truly busy year for Hongkong's best-known film personality, martial arts superstar Jackie Chan.

In February, Chan signed a three-film picture deal with San Francisco Mayor Mr Frank Jordan. The agreement will take Chan to the US city at the end of the year to star in what he called ''action-movies''.

And Sylvester Rocky Stallone's 71-year-old mother flew into town to see the kung fu star as she wanted him to co-star in the fourth instalment of Sly's First Blood films. But Chan was not free to make a decision at the time and left it up to his company to decide.

His next film, Crime Story 2, is due to be screened soon. By then, he will be well into shooting Drunken Fist 2 - the long-awaited follow-up to the film that gave him his big break - Drunken Fist.
