Kuala Lumpur: Malaysia have won the under-23 Tuanku Ja'afar cricket Cup, defeating Hong Kong by six wickets. Hong Kong scored 249 for six in 50 overs with Grayson Tyndale top-scoring with 88.

 He shared an opening 98-run stand with Manoj Cheruparambil (44). Roy Lamsam made 48.

 Rakesh Madhavan (101) and Suresh Navaratnam (118) helped the hosts coast to victory.
