More than 300 publishers and book companies will showcase their latest titles at the ninth Hong Kong Book Fair at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Organised by the Trade Development Council from July 22 to 27, the fair will provide all kinds of summer reading for book-lovers.
Council senior manager of exhibitions, Benjamin Chau Kai-leung, said the book fair had established itself as the biggest event of its kind in Asia.
'Since last year the book fair has moved to the new venue at the exhibition centre extension to cater for more exhibitors and visitors in spacious surroundings,' Mr Chau said.
'The expanded fair not only provides a wealth of books for avid readers, it also offers a unique opportunity for publishers to promote new titles.' This year, the book fair's trade section - the International Copyright Exchange launched last year - will be integrated into the main event, according to Mr Chau.
Both the public and trade sections will be housed in the extension, with total floor space exceeding 20,000 square metres.
More than 300 exhibitors will participate in the six-day fair.
