I am concerned that the MTR Corporation refuses to accept the use of the International Student Identity Card (ISIC) as valid identification of a full-time student.
Holders of the ISIC are able to benefit worldwide from student discounts, so it is unbelievable that Hong Kong, being an internationally recognised commercial and financial centre, would not allow the use of the ISIC on the MTR. I believe that it is an insult to the people of Hong Kong and that the MTRC should reconsider its position.
