The 'Hong Kong Shirley Temple' came to public attention 40 years ago playing an orphan in Nobody's Child. Since then she has won 11 awards, including Best Actress at the Berlin Film Festival for Women. Now that she has completed a clinical child psychology degree in the US, she has plans to put it into practise.
Favourite book: Yes, Minister and Yes, Prime Minister, books of the British TV comedy series. They still make me laugh even after reading them for the 10th time.
Magazine: Any magazine my daughters read - it's always interesting to find out what young people are reading. Why do well brought-up children read articles their mothers can't understand? Film: Roman Holiday. Not being voluptuous, I find Audrey Hepburn, who made the whole world fall in love with her, most inspiring.
CD: Anything by Nat King Cole. His voice sounds perfect even through my lousy hearing aid [Siao has tinnitus].
Car: Any vehicle that can carry me reasonably smoothly from one place to another.
