Graphics software company Micrografx has signed a distributor agreement with SiS International, marking its entry into the Hong Kong market.
Micrografx makes a range of graphics packages, from consumer products to specialist design tools.
For the Asia-Pacific region, however, it would be targeting the corporate graphics market, Micrografx Asia Pacific regional director Jeffrey Lewis said.
In particular, it planned to push its process-management tools, including FlowCharter, a software package that allows users to create flow-chart diagrams.
These could be utilised to help executives manage different processes in their organisation, and with its Optima Package, it was possible to perform simulations of processes.
Users could design processes with FlowCharter then see how they worked with Optima, enabling them to perform 'what if' analysis.
