Hong Kong have made wholesale changes for next week's crunch Davis Cup encounter against the Philippines.
Beaten by Taiwan in their opening Asia-Oceania Zone Group Two clash in April, Hong Kong's tennis players will be fighting for their lives on the courts of Victoria Park from July 17-19 against the equally fired-up Philippines.
The losers of the tie face relegation to Asia-Oceania Zone Group Three, the effective rock-bottom of international men's tennis in the region.
Heading Hong Kong's challenge to halt the slide into oblivion will be Shane Barr.
Barr, who became eligible to represent Hong Kong in Davis Cup matches earlier this year, had been due to make his debut against Taiwan but was ruled out after picking up an injury in training.
The big-serving Queenslander has been the undisputed king of Hong Kong tennis for the past three years and his presence against the Philippines will be a big boost.
