Tale of two Hiltons

A well-known seafood restaurant has accused an arch rival of running a fishy business.

The Lamma Hilton is seeking an injunction against the Genuine Lamma Hilton and damages in a row over the seafood throne.

In a writ filed in the High Court yesterday, the Lamma Hilton - whose full name is Lamma Hilton Shum Kee Seafood Restaurant - is trying to stop its rival from using its reputation to attract customers. The restaurant claims the use of the Lamma Hilton name is an attempt by the pretender to pass itself off as the original item.
