A fundraising dinner was organised by Alice Chiu and Eric Smulders at the China Club in aid of the Sheen Hok Charitable Foundation.

 More than 120 guests were treated to a delicious menu, the highlight being an exclusive abalone dish prepared by the abalone king, Yeung Koon-yat, of the famed Forum restaurant.

 A Rembrandt etching was auctioned and proceeds from the evening went towards establishing a tuberculosis treatment centre in Xian.
