Troubled telephone-maker HB International Holdings told the stock exchange yesterday it was still in negotiations with its creditors for a formal standstill agreement. The company said it had requested a one-month extension but said it had yet to hear back from the respective banks. HB International shares took a dive yesterday, falling 0.4 cents to four cents a share. The company said in March that it had about $600 million in outstanding debts.
