Transporter and freight forwarder Kuehne & Nagel International said it was shipping air-cargo exports from Hong Kong to Singapore by sea due to the air-cargo moratorium in Hong Kong.

Klaus Herms, Kuehne & Nagel's Asia-Pacific managing director, said cargo would be sent by sea to Singapore and then flown to Europe. The temporary arrangement would mean cargo loads would be delayed by about six days, reaching their destination in nine days.
