Through-train fares to all four destinations in Guangdong will be reduced from August 1.

 Adult fares to Guangzhou will fall from $250 to $190, to Dongguan from $160 to $140, to Zhaoqing from $290 to $235 and Foshan $225 to $210. A KCRC spokesman said the reductions were aimed at winning back passengers lost to competition from cross-border bus and ferry services.
