Italian oil firm Agip has signed a contract with China National Offshore Oil Corp (CNOOC) for joint exploration of an 850 square-kilometre block of the northeastern Bohai Sea, the China Daily reported. It said CNOOC president Wang Yan and Agip chief executive Luciano Sgubini sealed the contract at a ceremony in Beijing last week.
