Now that Bruno Wu has taken over the helm of ATV, may I suggest certain changes which he may consider making at the beleaguered station which would be fair for both Home and World channel viewers? Firstly, Telefishion is unnecessary. Must we subject ourselves to watching fish swimming across our TV screens combined with boring music as a form of hypnotism to send viewers to sleep, or as a 'wake-up antidote' in the mornings? Secondly, I think it is important to have the time, weather and temperature displayed during the mornings on World channel, as they are on Home and on TVB Pearl.
It is very useful for people on the move wanting to check time and forecast at a glance prior to going to work.
The station used to do this many years ago and I never understood why it was dropped.
Thirdly, I would like to see a reintroduction of CNN morning news, or a reliable alternative, and please reschedule morning programmes to a more suitable time; a 5.25am start is far too early for most viewers.
As ETV will be rescheduled to start at noon in September on World channel, ATV has no excuse for not reorganising its morning schedule.
