Korn/Ferry International, the executive search firm, has appointed Bill Donaldson as partner in the financial services practice.
He joins Korn/Ferry on the back of 20 years experience in the Asian financial markets, having worked for a number of first-class financial institutions with headquarters in Britain, the United States, Switzerland and Japan.
Mr Donaldson, who will be located in Singapore, began his Asian banking career in 1977 at Standard Chartered Bank and went on to hold a number of managerial positions throughout the region.
His career at Standard Chartered culminated with his responsibility for the Asia-Pacific corporate banking portfolio, involving more than 100 of the bank's key relationships.
In 1987, he was appointed by Bankers Trust Company as regional credit officer.
In 1995, he joined SBC Warburg as executive director in its Debt Capital Markets Group.
