A former police constable was yesterday jailed for two months for accepting a 'loan' from a shopkeeper under investigation for drug offences. Chung Yuk-fai, 26, was also fined $21,000 by Magistrate Alan Wright at North Kowloon Court. Chung admitted accepting $21,000 in an unauthorised loan on February 13 from Li Kwok-fai, who managed a Mongkok store called Sex Love. The court heard Chung was involved in a raid on the store on December 3. Chung admitted he had borrowed the money. Li is expected to be sentenced on August 19 after earlier pleading guilty to providing an unauthorised loan to a police officer.
