TWO men who held up a herbalist and his wife with a knife were jailed by the High Court. Fung Yee-chiu, 22, pleaded guilty and was sentenced to five years. Wu Chun-choi, 23, was convicted by a jury after trial and was jailed for nine years. The court was told that unemployed Fung contacted Wu, an old schoolmate, to see if he could recommend employment. Fung found that Wu was also unemployed. They met on a few occasions and decided that robbery was the quickest way to make money. They went to the clinic in Mongkok, posing as patients. While in the consultation room, they held up the owners, tied them up and covered their heads. Most of the stolen property was later recovered.
