A concert aims to raise funds to provide opportunities for underprivileged girls in China. Organised by Legend International, a non-profit group celebrating its fifth anniversary, the show will be held on Sunday at 9.30 pm at the Hard Rock Cafe in Tsim Sha Tsui. Proceeds will be donated to the Spring Blossom Project Foundation, a charity which helps mainland girls who are suffering from poverty or discrimination. Spring Blossom has launched projects covering more than 28 provinces in China, with 600,000 girls benefitting from the effort. Legend is hoping to reduce illiteracy among women in China and gradually raise the quality of education. Besides basic education, the organisation is providing professional training for them. Tickets at $120 and $90 (students) are available at the cafe entrance. For inquiries and reservations, contact Ms Chow on 9336-7447 or 2570-2793 (Spring Blossom).
