The long arms of the law have their hands full at Kwun Tong police station, where three officers became fathers of twins within three weeks of each other. Pictured with their wives and offspring are (from left) constables Leung Kam-fat, Wong Cheuk-hang and Ho Yin-lok. The twins - all boy and girl pairs - were born on January 17, January 19 and February 26. Another officer's wife had triplets about two years ago. Fung shui master Chung Ying-tong said the station's location in Lei Yue Mun Road played a part. 'Lei Yue [carp] breed hundreds of spawn,' he said. 'Raising two new babies at the same time is very tiring, but that's offset by the joy they bring us,' said Constable Wong, who is about to be promoted to sergeant. Constable Ho said: 'The family's expenses have doubled. And the babies cry or get ill together. But we are very happy.' Constable Leung said: 'The toughest time was the first month after their birth when we had to wake up all night whenever the babies cried.'
