A star-studded concert brought the curtain down on a series of projects aimed at encouraging youngsters to spend their summer vacation meaningfully.

More than 1,000 people packed the International Trademart Centre in Kowloon Bay to cheer their Canto-pop idols at the Solar Closing Concert , organised by RTHK and the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC).

Its theme was a fair and just society in which young people can play a major role. They were urged to fight corruption to ensure a stable and prosperous future for Hong Kong.

Apart from the concert - which was the climax of this year's RTHK Solar Project - a quiz tested the audience's sense of civic responsibility in combating crime and their general attitude towards life.

Canto-pop singers including Aaron Kwok, Sammi Cheng, Daniel Chan, Kelly Chen, Jeff Chang, Harlem Yu, Leo Ku, Karen Mok, Steven Ma, Grace Ip, Hawick Lau, Ho Ka-lai, and Chan Chin- pang and All-4-One - a music group from the United States - added their voice to help promote the message.
