ON April 9, at 11.10 am TVB Pearl screened a programme called, What Kids Want to Know About Sex and Growing Up.

It was an excellent sex education programme for youngsters approaching and/or being in the process of puberty.

If such a proposal is not currently being undertaken, we would strongly suggest that the programme be repeated. It should also be dubbed into Cantonese and should be distributed to schools and local television stations.

It is widely known that many parents, and to a lesser extent teachers, are embarrassed and/or reluctant to discuss such an important subject.
