A suicidal man apparently changed his mind after jumping on to the tracks at Diamond Hill MTR station yesterday. Unemployed Au Yeung Tin-luk, 27, leapt as a train pulled up to the Kwun Tong-bound platform at 7.40 am. But when the train approached, he dived into the pit between the two tracks. The driver braked but Mr Au Yeung was trapped under the front. Ngau Chi Wan fire station commander Ko Mo-wai, said: 'It wasn't necessary to jack up the train to remove the man. He was just pulled out. The rescue operation took less than 10 minutes.' The former printing worker suffered minor bruises to his forehead and right elbow and was conscious when he was taken to United Christian Hospital where his condition was listed as 'stable' last night. Mr Au Yeung, who lost his job about two years ago, lives with his parents in Tseung Kwan O.
