Hong Kong's Postmaster-General, Robert Footman, said yesterday that Speedpost would continue to help the Hong Kong Salvation Army and the Hong Kong Red Cross rush relief materials to flood victims for free. In co-operation with Guangdong Posts, the Telecommunications Administration and Guangzhou Courier Service (HK), speedy delivery of materials had been made possible, Mr Footman said. Recent relief materials delivered included 78 bags of medicine from the Hong Kong Red Cross for Hubei province, and life jackets, food and medicine from the Hong Kong Salvation Army for Jiangxi province.
