Hong Kong Catering Management, which operates Saint Honore cake shops, says sales at its bakery business grew in single digits in the first quarter.
After its annual general meeting, chairman Glenn Chan Wai-cheung said the company would add three Saint Honore cake shops this year to further boost sales.
Despite a 5 per cent increase in sales in the bakery business, its restaurant operation experienced a tough time with sales falling 3 per cent in the same period.
Mr Chan said the company would control operating costs through natural wastage.
