Chek Lap Kok Airport inquiry

A German and a local expert were yesterday appointed to assist the inquiry.

They are information technology experts Dr Ulrich Kipper, senior project manager at Frankfurt Airport, and mechatronics expert Professor Xiren Cao, of the department of electrical and electronic engineering at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Last month, two more experts, Professor Vincent Shen of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Jason Yuen, an American airport consultant, were appointed to advise the commission on technical aspects of the inquiry.
