The first thing Chow Yun-fat does when he gets back to Hong Kong is go for a bowl of wonton noodles.

He tells me that despite concentrating on his Hollywood career, his love for food and cooking hasn't diminished.

In fact, every time he comes home to Hong Kong he puts on at least 4kg, indulging in all the food he misses.

Having just finished his second Hollywood movie, The Corruptor with Mark Wahlberg, Yun-fat has signed on to star as the King of Siam in Anna and the King, - a role which he says will not require him to shave his head.

As to who would play Anna, Yun-fat says Emma Thompson is the director's first choice, but this has not been confirmed by the studio.

But back to his food. Yun-fat says he enjoys going to the market and coming home to cook. Even when filming, he still finds time to cook, but if he's too tired, his wife Jasmine does the honours.
