And after studying the I Ching, Professor Lin has created a new school of thought based on folk culture, fung shui, holistic healing, philosophy and metaphysics.

And judging from the awards and honorary qualifications bestowed on him, as well as his frequent lectures at academic institutions such as Harvard, Yale and Princeton, Professor Lin has certainly garnered a lot of respect and recognition.

And apart from helping lots of people solve their problems - top corporations as well as tycoons, politicians and movie stars are among his clients - Professor Lin's popularity lies in his ability to combine Chinese culture with Western science.

Born and raised in Beijing, Professor Lin began studying Buddhism when he was six years old. He later left for Taiwan where he continued his studies. He also was an instructor with the Yale-in-China Programme at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and today travels the world expounding his theories and giving lectures on chi and fung shui.
