Action star Jean-Claude Van Damme proves he can challenge local kung fu hero Jackie Chan in his latest film Knock Off. He stars as Marcus Ray who works as a sales representative for V Six Jeans in Hong Kong. During the drama and pageantry of the handover, Ray gets wind of a terrifying conspiracy by the Russian Mafia to bring deadly microbomb technology to the worldwide terrorist black market. The executive vice-president of international sales at V Six Jeans learns the jeans are being pirated and immediately suspects Ray and his fellow V Six undercover CIA agent Tommy Hendricks are behind the racket. In her need for compassion, she turns to John. Meanwhile, John, who is trying to document on video everyday life in Hong Kong before and during the handover, meets Jean in a coffee shop.
