The joint venture of Deutsche Telekom, France Telecom and Sprint said it was the first of global carriers to announce the plan. The option will be available from January 1 next year, when the currency is introduced.
The company said euro billing would allow customers to simplify a common financial problem facing companies - currency handling.
'The euro represents a stable currency, reducing the financial risk companies face on both the cost and revenue sides of their business.' In the three-year transition until full euro use, the company said it would accept transactions in all national currencies.
