Consumer audio product maker Tomei International Holdings saw attributable profit grow 14.8 per cent to $30 million in the first half of this year, despite reporting an exceptional loss. The $1.92 million exceptional loss arose from the write-off of development costs. Operating profit dropped 21.2 per cent to $24.3 million while turnover fell slightly to $1.98 billion from $2.07 billion. The company again did not recommend an interim dividend. Earnings per share rose marginally to 1.4 cents from 1.24 cents.
