Constable Wong Chi-fai paid Chief Inspector Law Hay-sing and Superintendent To Kin-chung $10,000 to go 'dancing' and another $20,000 to have a good time in Macau, the District Court heard yesterday.

Jailed former sergeant Hui Kwok-leung claimed the constable received six questions ahead of his interview.

To, 49, was the chairman of Police Sergeant Force Selection Board B. Law was the brother of Chief Inspector Law Hay-chung, who was a member of Board D.

Hui, jailed for 15 months with another officer for conspiracy to solicit advantages, said Wong had paid a further $60,000 after promotion, but this was seized by the ICAC.
